A small team in Skopje and Tirana — building the calmest taxi platform the Balkans have ever had, on transparent commission, with drivers paid first and fares shown before you confirm.
The why
Why we started.
Two of us grew up calling 1592 from a corded phone in Skopje. Three of us studied in Tirana and rode unmetered taxis to class. All of us watched modern ride-hailing arrive — and slowly drift away from drivers, away from passengers, into the surge.
Taxigo started in late 2024 around one stubborn idea: a Balkan ride app can be quiet, honest and useful at the same time. No surge tax. No driver squeeze. No fight at the airport rank. A platform built here, by people who ride here.
How we work

Drivers paid first
IBAN every Monday, instant withdraw on demand for 1.5%. Their work pays before our payroll.

One number = one fare
The fare on screen is the fare paid. No surge multiplier hidden in the total, no airport markup.

Human support
Critical issues reach a person in two hours. Routine support reaches a person the same business day. No bot mazes.
