Privacy, in plain terms.
This policy explains what personal data Taxigo collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how to exercise your GDPR rights to access, port, correct or delete it.

Data we collect
Account: name, email, phone, language. Ride: pickup/drop-off coordinates, route, fare, payment method. Driver KYC: licence, vehicle docs, IBAN. Device: IP, app version, push token. Optional: emergency contact, preferences.
Why we collect it
To match you to a driver, calculate the fare, settle payouts, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations (tax, transport regulation, GDPR access requests). We never use ride data for advertising profiling.
How long we keep it
Account and ride history: while the account is active plus 5 years (tax). KYC documents: per local regulation. Communication logs: 2 years. Anonymised aggregates: indefinitely.
Sharing
Drivers see your name, phone (masked via proxy where supported), pickup, drop-off and rating. Operations sees a fuller picture only for safety/dispute review. We never sell data. We share with payment processors and tax authorities strictly as required.
Your rights (GDPR)
Access, rectify, port, restrict, delete — email privacy@taxigo.mk or privacy@taxigo.al. We answer within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Children
Taxigo is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Updates
Material changes are notified by email and in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
